CCTC-DFB
The DFB version of the CCTC has been optimized for use with distributed feedback laser diodes.Given a high stability of laser temperature and current, as ensured by use of the CCTC-DFB module,the optical frequency of the DFB laser diode is arbitrarily tunable in a large range, which is usuallybetween some hundreds up to 1500 GHz. Thus, the CCTC-DFB applies well for:
- High resolution spectroscopy
- Frequency scanning or phase shifting interferometry
- Generation of continuous-wave terahertz radiation by mixing of two laser fields
CCTC-12A
These versions of the CCTC have been optimized for use with high power laser diodes, such aspump laser diodes for fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers.The CCTC-12A combines linear current/temperature control technology with regulated switchingpower supplies. This results in a low noise level of the laser diodes injection current at low powerconsumption of the driver electronics.
